Policies & Procedures

WSRAR’s Policies and Procedures Disclosure was created to make participants aware of all course policies and requirements. Prior to registration for a WSRAR class, please use the link below to review and sign.

NAR Code of Ethics

The National Association of REALTORS® requires all members to take Code of Ethics training every three years.

The current cycle is January 1, 2022-December 31, 2024.

Any licensee who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® must complete Code of Ethics.

Appraisers are required to take an approved ethics course. If you do not need continuing education credit, then opt for the 2.5-hour course on NAR’s website. The USPAP does not satisfy this requirement.

Options:

Take a 4-hour elective with ethics included.

Take a 2.5-hour course on NAR’s website; this does not give you continuing education credit.

Please note that if you take an Ethics course with a different Education Provider, you must submit a Certificate of Completion to your local association. We do not share a database with NCREC or other Education Providers.

E-Learning Opportunities

There are muliple outlets for members to complete continuing educucation courses, Code of Ethics and more virtually. We love seeing you in person, but this works too!

Designations & Certifications

The National Association of REALTORS® and its affiliated Institutes, Societies, and Councils provide a wide range of programs and services that help members increase their skills, proficiency, and knowledge. Designations and certifications acknowledging experience and expertise in various real estate sectors are awarded by NAR and each affiliated group upon completion of required courses.
